About Pundits |
|
|
| Sultan,
pictured above (right) established Pundits in Upton Upon Severn in 1996.
Since then Pundits has become a firm favorite of many discerning locals
as well as regular visitors to the town.
Pundits is very different to the typical "Indian" restaurant for three important reasons:
Pundits has a large number of "regulars" that travel some considerable distance. You will find that both Sultan and his customers think of the whole occasion more as a "meeting up of friends" than anything else.
As well as the "front room" which is full of character, there is also another lovely room at the back which is available for private functions. If there is no function on then smokers may use this room - the front being strictly "no smoking". There is also a patio garden in which you can eat your meal - when the weather allows, that is.
Sultan and his staff now regard Upton as their home, regular special events take place to raise money for local, and not so local charities. These events are always very well supported by the regulars - usually there is no fixed charge for the food - you pay what you want, but remember that half of whatever you choose to pay goes to charity! Pay Pundits a visit, and find out why many of those who have, now regard Sultan and his staff not just as friends, but as exceptionally good friends. |
